  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish

  • 1 tablespoon minced onion 2 hard cooked eggs

  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional, but adds a nice tang)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, chopped green olives, sweet pickle relish, capers, hard cooked eggs, and minced onion.

  2. Add the dry mustard, hot pepper sauce and lemon for a touch of acidity.

  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Stir everything until well combined.

  5. Refrigerate the tartar sauce for at least an hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and develop.
