Popcorn balls are a classic and fun treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and require just a few simple ingredients. Here is a simple recipe for popcorn balls that you can try at home:


  • 10 cups popped popcorn

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon vinegar

  • Optional: your favorite candy or dried fruit chopped up


  1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl and set it aside.

  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.

  4. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. Pour the mixture over the popcorn and stir until the popcorn is evenly coated.
